Do I receive the bride’s email addresses?

Yes.

 

How often do brides drop off or opt-out of CertifiedWeddingPros.com?

We currently have a retention rate of 95% each week. That means for every list of 100 brides, 95 are in the system at the end of one week, 90 at the end of two weeks and so on. Brides have always been a migratory demographic. It’s important not to allow your leads to sit and gather dust over an extended period of time.

 

What have you heard that works?

CertifiedWeddingPros.com currently has many successful merchant members. We have found that most of those who are successful are merchants who email religiously AND follow up with a second form of communication. Just as you can’t make one phone call to a bride, you can’t email once and expect significant results, but when you email, snail mail and telephone, your success ratio rises.

 

I’ve forgotten my password. Can I get a new one?

I sent an email and a bride contacted me to say she didn’t register with CertifiedWeddingPros.com. What should I do?

This happens rarely. Because CertifiedWeddingPros.com is an internet based program, sometimes family members and friends register a bride-to-be trying to be helpful. If a bride contacts you and wants to be removed from the system, simply forward her name and email to webmaster@CertifiedWeddingPros.com and we will remove her from the system.

 

How many markets can I place my listing in?

How many categories can I place my listing in?

We do not have a limit on the number of markets or regions you can place your listing in. It’s simply an investment decision you have to make. We do offer a discount for additional markets and categories.

  

Do you ask the bride what services she needs?

No, not anymore. For years we asked the bride to indicate what services she needed and over 95% of all brides checked every box. The brides are on an information gathering quest. You can be successful by contacting the bride with an email and following up with a direct mail piece.

 

Do you have caps on participation?

CertifiedWeddingPros.com does not currently limit the number of vendors in each category. With our explosive growth we haven’t had to. As the system grows we are carefully watching and evaluating each region and category. Our goal is to provide you with the opportunity to make a profit. If, in the future we decide that capping participation is required, we will not hesitate to implement such a cap.

 

Do I have to renew my program at the end of each quarter, six month or annual term?

No, there is no requirement that you renew your program at the end of each period. You may cancel your program at any time and the program will end on the last day of the term you are in. For example; If you register for a six month membership and cancel in writing after four months, you will continue to receive leads until the end of the six month program. Having received notification in writing, your program would not auto renew. If you do not cancel your program in writing prior to the end of the term, your program will auto renew and we will use the payment information provided by you to pay for the new term.

 

I’m on a quarterly program and I want to change to an annual program. Can I do it?

Yes, any merchant Member on a month to month program can change to an annual or semiannual program at any time.

 

How quickly should I respond to a brides email request?

Today, people expect instant responses to information requests. In the past you could mail some information and the bride was happy to get it in a week. Now, you must check your email at least twice a day and respond to every email request within 12 hours. Some sources in the industry believe that 12 hours is too long and require their employees to respond to emails within 30 minutes.

 

Can you allow me to be a member for a month for FREE so I can test your service?

The short answer is No, we do not offer a free membership period. In fact we don't offer a one or two month PAID period either. We believe it takes some time to start generating results.

 

This is not a get rich quick program or a way to send out 100 emails and get five weddings. You must consistently work the leads in an organized fashion. Just like most advertising, frequency is the key. Most members report some success within 30 days but the majority of the business really starts to be secured after 90 days. We have hundreds of members who are successful and happy with CertifiedWeddingPros.com. The program works but it takes work. We strenuously encourage you to email religiously AND follow up with a second form of communication. Just as you can’t make one phone call to a bride, you can’t email once and expect significant results. When you email, snail mail and telephone, your success ratio rises.

 

We also believe that if a wedding professional isn't committed enough to their business to invest $180, then they probably aren't working very hard. There is an old saying that you get what you pay for, in this case it's true. Lastly, FREE membership isn't fair to our existing members. When a member photographer in New York receives the same leads as a New York Photographer who has a FREE Trial Membership, it's unfair to the member. CertifiedWeddingPros.com works very hard to be fair and equal to all our members.

How do brides hear about you?

We promote CertifiedWeddingPros.com through many different channels. The vast majority of brides hear about us through our exclusive marketing arrangements with some of the country's best wedding professionals. Once a bride confirms that she wants to be included in our opt-in program, we provide the information to our members. We also conduct extensive awareness campaigns through bridal publications, bridal shows and web based marketing programs.
